Bats Are Intelligent And Social Animals

Bats are considered as disgusting creatures by people. They are loathed and hated without any reason or, logic. In fact, they are highly intelligent and social creatures. Bats are the only mammals capable of flying. There are around 1,100 species of bats. That is really a big number. Thus, the bats make up nearly a quarter of all mammals. About 30% of them are fruit eaters and the rest of them are insect eaters. For example, a single brown bat is capable of catching approximately 1,200 small insects in an hour.
